One of the powers Boba gained upon arriving in game is the power of psychometry! As explained in his app:

Boba has the ability to “read” someone’s memories by touching an object held by them at the time. When he uses this ability, he can briefly experience the sights, sounds, and feelings, both physical and emotional, that the object’s wielder experienced while in possession of the object at one point in time. Highly emotional memories tend to be the clearest, while more mundane ones fade into the background. Boba cannot control what memories he experiences, and objects frequently held by numerous people are difficult and unpleasant to read, as they result in a sensory barrage.

That means if Boba touches something that your character was holding/wearing during an emotionally significant moment, he might, in essence, relive that emotional memory! Boba doesn't like this ability that much and so will not use it intentionally without reason. Player Name: Spider, who got carried away with this

Character name + Journal Name: Lucien Lachance applewatcher
What object(s) can Boba read?: Any of his 'work' clothes, any of his items from home
What memories does the object carry? The clothes he's been wearing here have a mix of extremely domestic memories (having a family meal with his adopted brother/Listener Finn Onaru and Finn's kitten Nirnroot, having pleasant days out and about), and professional murder. He's been killing two a month for the past couple months, and it's refreshing. It makes him feel like he has a purpose here, and has a chance to show the Night Mother that despite his faults, he still tries to be a loyal son.

His robes and shortsword from home don't get used all that often, but there are memories of recruiting people to the Brotherhood, visiting the Cheydinhal sanctuary, fussing with his amazing hellhorse, and a few beautiful vistas over Cyrodiil at night, when the moons are out. He's only done a few murders since he was issued his robes, and it made him nostalgic for his earlier days. He has definitely and messily killed at least one Brotherhood member who had committed some unspecified crime. There was a lot of blood, and it was just something that needed to be done
There's definitely a set of memories that he's dwelling on more, though, featuring Matthieu Bellamont. He's trying to remember if there were any signs of the treachery he's been warned of here in MoM.

And finally, there's memories of resisting the urge to openly approach the Lucky Old Lady statue in Bravil. It's both a thrill to be so close to the remains of his goddess, and to know that she is hidden beneath such a prominent location. His religious devotion is obvious, but he has always wished he could hear her voice. He was chosen as an apprentice to a Speaker, not the Listener, so he'll likely never hear her until he dies.

What object(s) can Boba read?: All of his kit from home
What memories does the object carry? Anything that happened in this comic issue. The helmet will only contain memories after the final assassination attempt on his commander, because I figure he had to get a new one issued again due to electrical damage. So his helmet is absolutely loaded up with grief over Akobi's death, his inability to identify that grief as anything but a malfunction, and the horrible realization that the rebel who killed Akobi was someone he could have stopped, if only he'd been more observant. Then, finally, his 'revelation' at the end, before he takes off his helmet and dies. Yay.

All the rest of his armor seems to be old enough to at least contain memories from Ralltiir, evenly split between a lot of ambushes with other troopers dying, and Commander Akobi, AKA the most important and best person. The former set of memories hold all the sorts of emotions and sensations you'd expect from combat, but deadened by both the armor and his conditioning. He only really comes alive around Akobi, with both his admiration for the man and his intense need to protect him. His armor will also contain memories right up to the moment of his death by massive explosion, so you know. Fun times.

What object(s) can Boba read?: Jadus keeps a very strong mental shield up at all times, so it's unclear whether psychometry would work on him. However, he does make biomechanical constructs with one of his MoM powers, and those don't fall under his defenses.
What memories does the object carry? It's going to need to be sorted out on a case-by-case basis, but these things perceive the world strangely. They're custom-made cyborgs slaved to Jadus' will, there's no way that's not going to be odd.

What object(s) can Boba read?: Her skateboard
What memories does the object carry? He can see any number of things - her learning to ride it when she was younger (like, 11 or 12)- Emotions would have been excitement, determination, the rush of wind through her hair and an ocean breeze. Her 18 year old asshole stepbrother Billy breaking it after she disobeyed him. There would have been a lot of screaming on Billy's part, probably name calling, and she would have felt hatred, anger, and also a great deal of fear. Falling off it in a gymnasium while talking to her friend Mike - she was in a good mood, but falling puzzled her (as unbeknownst to her, a psychic child yanked it out from beneath her out of jealousy), so she was confused because she was pretty good at skateboarding by then. She was feeling hopeful that Mike would agree to let her join his group of nerd friends.

What object(s) can Boba read?: Anders' original outfit, which he currently has hanging in his closet, and the knife that he brought over from his world.
What memories does the object carry? The knife would probably have the memory of Anders killing his ex-lover, Karl, which was a very emotional moment for him. He didn't want to, but Karl begged him to do it, since he'd been made Tranquil and didn't want to return to being an emotionless puppet.

The clothes have Anders' memories from back home, such as healing refugees and the poor, facing Ser Alrik, and the Qunari attack on Kirkwall. Boba is also likely to get Justice's memories, which include his anger at seeing Karl made Tranquil or going into the Fade to save a boy from demons. Anders' world state info can be found in his journal.

What object(s) can Boba read?: The clothes he came in, which he rarely wears these days, and a black hoodie.
What memories does the object carry? His original clothes have the memories of finding out he's dragonborn, facing Alduin, and joining the Dark Brotherhood. He's also likely to have memories of meeting the many Daedric Princes.

The hoodie has memories of himself hanging out with Lucien, like getting lessons about stealth and using a knife.
